Discounts for public servants
Many companies provide discounts on services and goods for government employees that can save you plenty of money, but they often don’t go out of the way to advertise them. Here are some that we use:
- Verizon Wireless gives a 15% discount for federal civilian employees, uniformed services and other large employers. Try entering your work email address on this form to see if you qualify.
- GEICO offers discounts for federal civilian workers. USAA offers affordable insurance for the uniformed services and veterans.
- Dell computer offers discounts to federal civilian employees, uniformed services and veterans.
